Cover all common topic areas and themes, giving students as much choice as possible for their speaking and writing exam in Year 11 Year 11:

Terms 1-2 Students choose the themes for their Speaking test and Writing exam, then carry out the speaking test, when they are ready. Then the writing exam in June

Students take their Listening and Reading exams at the end of Year 11 free to concentrate on the Speaking and Writing exam. Year 10: Term 1-3

Students take their Listening and Reading exams at the end of Year 10. Year 11: Terms 1-2 Students choose their test theme (s) for Speaking and Writing. They can do speaking end of term 2 beginning of term 3 and the writing exam in June.
